HE is COMING HOME

At 6:10 am this morning Loralee & Lee called us to tell us that the consulate called and is going to issue Ethan's US Visa. OUR hard work, prayers and pressure worked!!! We have to compile the emails, faxes and letters in a book for Ethan to show him how much we all wanted him. What a HAPPY dAY!!

SIT time--See what we get up to!

We had an hour or so on our hands in Ambergris between dives ( called SIT time = Surface Interval Time) so we went walking the streets. I was trying to be artisitic and so did this reflective shot. It turned out pretty good and so I am including it in my blog of Belize.

Who Woulda Thought

I accomplished a goal of a life time this past year, when I took and passed a scuba course offered by a good friend and business co-worker, Sam VanMeter. Sam taught a group of us that work together to scuba dive. I had already planned to go to Belize with my boss and a group of friends. By finishing the scuba class and getting course work completed, I was able to do my open water certification in Belize.

This picture is from my first dive in Belize. I had a wonderful time learning this new skill and opening up a whole new world. It was the best!

I am heading the Grand Bahamas next.....stay tuned!

MY first ever Blog

Wow, this is kinda fun.....a message out there to the world, kinda.

I had an interesting experience last night in having my palm read. That was an enlightening event. I am still processing it in light of my life, and my uncertain future.

My job situation is still very up in the air. I have to figure out what the next steps are for me. It seems radical in light of the fact that for today, I have only managed to get up and doctor the dog. I guess if each journey begins with a single step...i should get steppin!!!
